What can I expect out of this qualification?

This conjoint degree gives students the opportunity to complete the requirements of two Bachelors degrees over a reduced period of time. Graduates will have knowledge and skills from both engineering and computing and mathematical sciences disciplines which gives them a good grounding for careers in many areas.

Entry Requirements

Minimum requirements

A New Zealand University Entrance qualification or equivalent. Civil, Mechanical and Electronic Engineering programmes require in addition to University Entrance a minimum of 16 credits in NCEA level 3 Calculus and at least 14 credits in NCEA level 3 Physics. Mechanical and Process, Environmental, Chemical and Biological Engineering programmes require in addition to University Entrance a minimum of 16 credits in NCEA level 3 Calculus, 16 credits in NCEA level 3 Chemistry, and at least 14 credits in NCEA level 3 Physics. Software Engineering requires in addition to University Entrance a minimum of 16 credits in NCEA level 3 Calculus.
