What can I expect out of this qualification?
Graduates will be skilled in communication, acquiring and organising information and using appropriate information technology. They will apply their knowledge of relevant principles and theories to senior professional information management roles in corporate information management, policy analysis, public relations, database management, web and intranet content management, electronic publishing, public librarianship, academic librarianship, school libraries, systems sales, systems training. Alternatively they may work independently as information brokers, designers, and trainers. Graduates with specialisations in library science or archives and records management will also have in-depth knowledge of appropriate theoretical frameworks and best practice in these fields.
