Graduates of the Postgraduate Certificate of Physical Activity and Hauora will have advanced skills to lead change amongst health promotion colleagues and communities. They will be critical thinkers that bring innovation and social justice to policy and community development. Graduates will have advanced skills in applying evidence-based practice and matauranga Maori as well as evaluating, explaining, and improving health promotion knowledge in the physical activity sector of Aotearoa New Zealand and internationally.

Minimum requirements
Entry to the PGCertPAH requires a bachelor s degree in a relevant discipline or significant practical, professional, or cultural experience as determined by the Associate Dean (Students) with a B average. These requirements can be waived by the Associate Dean (Students) for a candidate who has had extensive practical, professional or cultural experience of an appropriate level.
