About the course
What can I expect out of this qualification?
MActSc graduates will be able to apply advanced actuarial techniques, including stochastic processes, generalized linear models, big data analysis and asset/liability modelling. They will have a professional-level knowledge of the Actuarial Control Cycle and corporate risk management strategies as well as additional advanced skills in finance and statistics. Graduates will be prepared to continue into a PhD programme in Actuarial Science. Graduates will be well prepared to take leadership roles in the actuarial or related fields.

A Bachelor s Degree or Graduate Diploma with an average grade of B+ or better in the relevant subjects, with a major in Actuarial Science, Finance, Statistics or a related field.
