About the course
What can I expect out of this qualification?
Graduates will have an advanced understanding of immunology in clinical practice and clinical research, with an emphasis on immune-mediated and autoimmune diseases. They will be able to generate hypotheses for experiment design and testing, and interpret data. They will work collaboratively and will employ relevant research methods such as flow cytometric analysis and clinical trial design. They will have transferable technical and analytical skills and will be able to communicate their findings. Students who demonstrate research ability may be able to continue to a PhD in immunology or clinical research. Graduates will be qualified to work in the fields of immunology, pharmacology, vaccine development, biomedical sciences generally, and the broader health sciences, in consultancy or research.
