About the course
What can I expect out of this qualification?
Graduates of this programme will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the principles of sustainability and be able to apply these within kaupapa Mâori. They will be able to communicate in te reo and have a background of researching their iwi and marae. they will be able to strategise and plan for sustainable hapû development in very practical terms, thereby introducing opportunities for hapû and iwi to be more active in the sustainable environmental management in particular the freshwater ecosystems. Outcomes will include formulation, implementation and monitoring of Iwi and Hapû environmental management planning documents.
