What can I expect out of this qualification?
The Graduate Diploma in Information Technology (GDIT) provides graduates in other disciplines who wish to pursue a career in the ICT industry with the skills and knowledge needed to pursue an IT career in the global market place. The programme also assists ICT industry professionals to gain the discipline and recognition of a formal qualification and an organised knowledge system to complement their industry experience.

Minimum requirements
A candidate for admission to this programme of study shall: - hold a bachelor s degree (at least equivalent to New Zealand pass standard) awarded by a tertiary institution approved by the Academic Board, or equivalent qualification; and - have an English level equivalent to IELTS 6.0 (with no band less than 5.5) / TOEFL iBT 60 / Pearson 50 / AIS Test of English Proficiency (TEP) 52/80 (with no band less than 12); or - gain approval under Admission Regulation 3: Special Admission.
