What can I expect out of this qualification?
The aim of the Postgraduate Diploma in Occupational Therapy Practice is to prepare graduates to be recognised as expert clinicians and leaders in their chosen area of practice. They will have advanced knowledge, and sound professional reasoning skills enabling them to role model, mentor, supervise and/ or lead others within the occupational therapy profession and related fields. Rigorous intellectual analysis and sound professional reasoning will enable graduates to move into new areas of practice where occupational therapy roles are emerging and to advocate for and influence the future direction of occupational therapy practice in Aotearoa New Zealand.
