About the course

What can I expect out of this qualification?

At the successful conclusion of the MClinPsych, graduates will satisfy the clinical examiners that they have a detailed knowledge of the theory, methodology, models and empirical status of clinical psychology. They will be eligible for registration as a psychologist under the clinical scope with the New Zealand Psychologists Board under the HPCA Act (2003).

Minimum requirements

A Masters degree in Psychology, with First Class or Second Class Division I Honours with at least 90 credits of research, or equivalent; or a PhD in Psychology; specific courses within the previous three years with a minimum B+ average, or equivalent; a selection process applies.
