What can I expect out of this qualification?
MInfSc graduates will have knowledge at a higher level than a BInfSc graduate in an information sciences discipline. They will be able to create new knowledge, critically evaluate information and communicate effectively, and be prepared for doctoral study or employment. They will have good quantitative and computing skills, be able to solve a range of both theoretical and practical problems and will have acquired the ability to work independently and with groups.

Minimum requirements
A Bachelor of Information Sciences, with a minimum B average across the 300-level majoring courses, or equivalent; or a Bachelor of Information Sciences with Honours or Postgraduate Diploma of Information Sciences, with a minimum B average over the qualifying 700-level courses, or equivalent.
