What can I expect out of this qualification?
DipEL holders will have the linguistic, cultural and academic knowledge necessary for study at bachelor's degree level. They will have developed skills in reading academic texts and learning academic vocabulary together with experience in giving formal presentations and speaking confidently and persuasively in more informal academic contexts.

Minimum requirements
48 level 2 NCEA credits including 8 level 1 NCEA credits in a language-rich subject (or level 3 ESOL credits in reading and writing). Applicants must have a background in a language other than English.
