Entry requirements

Admission:

Applicants must be at least 15 years of age.

While there are no mandatory prerequisites, it is strongly recommended that learners have:
- Foundational digital literacy (ability to navigate a computer, install software, and use basic IT tools)
- Basic numeracy skills to interpret technical data and troubleshoot configurations
- Prior exposure to IT concepts (e.g., experience with operating systems or networking gained through study, work experience, or self-learning).

Students who enter without an IT background will have access to:
- Pre-course preparatory materials (self-paced resources on basic IT concepts)
- Trainer support through guided learning sessions.

To support learner readiness, we will provide a pre-course online self-assessment. This short, diagnostic activity helps learners gauge their comfort with foundational IT concepts and basic digital tasks. While this assessment is not a barrier to entry, it allows both the learner and trainer to identify areas where additional support may be needed during the course.
