This micro-credential is designed for those who are currently working in the tourism and hospitality sector.
Domestic applicants: Open entry to applicants aged 17 years and over residing in New Zealand, including those in employment and those on working visas.
About the course
What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this micro-credential is to provide emerging leaders within New Zealand's tourism and hospitality sector with an understanding of personality testing models and leadership styles. It will discuss leadership theories and demonstrate how personality assessments can be utilised to lead diverse teams and support organisational success. Learners will develop a personalised leadership plan to enhance team performance and assist with achieving strategic goals within their organisation.
It aims to enhance the professional capabilities of emerging leaders by developing their understanding of personality models, leadership styles and strategies. It has been designed to help learners discuss practical ways in which these tools can support organisational success within the context of a tourism or hospitality business.
