Entry requirements
Learners require first aid (unit standards 6401 and 6402) to be able to complete the qualification. Learners must be employed in the electricity supply industry and be signed into a training agreement with either MITA Consulting or Te Pukenga (Connexis).

What can I expect out of this qualification?
The high voltage switching micro-credential consists of valuable NZQA unit standards that are in high demand by employers in Electricity Supply but would also be used anywhere with high voltage infrastructure such as Ports of Auckland, Waihi Goldmines or Fonterra.
This programme was designed specifically for ākonga who work in the electricity supply industry or anyone who needs to carry out high voltage switching.
