The aim of this micro-credential is to provide learners with the knowledge and skills to identify and respond to security threats in a complex IT environment that Cybersecurity Analysts will work in.

Minimum requirements
The entry requirements for this micro-credential are: Academic Entry Requirements: There are no compulsory academic entry requirements. However, it is recommended that learners enrolling in this course have a foundational understanding of cybersecurity concepts such as cybersecurity, networking, and operating systems. CompTIA Security+ certification is recommended (not compulsory) as a prerequisite, or ability to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and experience. English Language Entry Requirements: Learners whose first language is not English must provide evidence of competency in English language equivalent to IELTS Academic score of 6 with no band score lower than 5.5.
