About the course
What can I expect out of this qualification?
To enable those with a desire to continue their learning and enhance career prospects in IT to create network protection and prevention systems by applying analyse, application, and management approaches that are effective against threats and vulnerabilities in the NZ industry and wider international contexts. This includes the construction and application of cyber defence initiatives for various network environment protection. Network defence development incorporates analysis, monitoring, and counter measures deployment that adds value to existing or new network security.

Basic IT knowledge equivalent to level 5 or above or related work experience. - Able to perform basic IT tasks such as installing software, using operating systems like Windows or Linux, creating a basic network, and supporting its day-to-day routine functions. - Knowledge of networking and infrastructure tools and techniques.
