Entry requirements
To be eligible for admission to this Micro-credential, all applicants must have general IT technical knowledge. As demonstrated by the equivalent of at least 14 credits at Level 2 in ICT-related subjects or equivalent skills or knowledge or experience.
About the course
What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this micro-credential is to provide Aotearoa New Zealand with people who have attained internationally transferrable industry-relevant knowledge and technical skills that will equip them to progress into further education in technology. This micro-credential aims to increase the number of Māori and Pasifika, and women in technology. It is also designed to provide opportunities for ākonga with disabilities, and those who are under/unemployed.
Businesses, organisations and communities will benefit from having professionals who have developed a technology mindset.
Graduates of this micro-credential will have the skills that will enable them to contribute to society, support digital proficiency and capability in a range of community and voluntary areas, and proceed to further study.
