Entry requirements
This micro-credential is suitable for people who are existing workers who would benefit from upskilling or new entrants to the marine crane operator role who hold suitable transferable skills.
Learners must be eligible to undertake industry training through the Primary ITO and must be employed in the Commercial Primary Industry or Seafood Manufacturing operation, in a role that will allow the micro-credential outcomes to be met.

What can I expect out of this qualification?
The overall aim of this micro-credential is to provide the commercial fishing industry with people who hold the knowledge and skills to safely carry out lifting operations using a vessel-mounted crane within the commercial fish industry.
