About the course
What can I expect out of this qualification?
This micro-credential is for people who intend to seek employment as a sampler for a professional laboratory or similar employment, or people who are early in a laboratory career. It is designed to prepare people to be able to sample various types of water (eg. drinking water, wasterwater, river, lake, ocean, cooling tower, pools, spas, ponds, groundwater, monitoring bores) and to perform on-site tests that are commonly done alongside water sampling

Minimum requirements
- NCEA Level 2 (or equivalent) OR recommendation by an organisation that conducts water sampling, AND - demonstration of understanding of the micro-credential and general suitability for the study through Real World Education's pre-entry processes.
