What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide the winery, retail, hospitality, hotel, and tourism sectors with individuals who are able to apply knowledge of international wine, spirits and alcoholic beverages, and their markets, to work in customer services, sales, or leadership roles.
- Graduates will be able to work independently and apply knowledge of destination marketing concepts and sales management tools across a range of businesses.
- The qualification will benefit the community by enhancing New Zealand's winery, retail, hospitality, hotel, and tourism experiences.

Entry Requirements
Minimum requirements
The entry requirements for this programme will be displayed on the course website and marketing material. The requirements are: * Aged 18 or over * Completed Prior Study: o NCEA Level 3 or equivalent, or o Completed diploma or degree at University or at another tertiary provider in New Zealand or overseas, or o New Zealand Certificate in Food and Beverage (Level 4) [NZ2105] and New Zealand Certificate in Hospitality Management (Advanced) (Level 5) [NZ2109], or o NZ Certificate in Cookery, Advanced (Level 4) [NZ2101]; or * Attend an interview in person or by telephone * Access to a laptop with minimum of 5 hours battery life and broadband * Upper intermediate level of English: IELTS 6.0 or equivalent for international students. * Valid student visa for international students
