What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide the dairy processing sectors with competent individuals who have the skills and knowledge to monitor operational processes, and apply basic diagnostic techniques to determine operating risks in a dairy processing plant. This involves monitoring plant components required to produce products such as cheese, ice cream, milk powder, milk protein or drinking milk.
The qualification is suitable for individuals working as operators in a dairy processing plant who want to develop their skills and knowledge for technical career progression opportunities within the dairy processing industry.
