The Tensile Testing optional strand may only be completed concurrently with, or upon completion of, the strand in Concrete Testing.

What can I expect out of this qualification?

This purpose of this qualification is to provide the concrete production sector with tradespeople capable of working unsupervised in a range of roles in specific areas of a concrete production plant.

This qualification is stranded in order to recognise the specialist skills and knowledge required to plan and carry out Batching, Dispatching, and Concrete Testing for concrete production.

The optional strand in Tensile Testing further recognises the skills required to perform specialist testing.

Graduates will be able to perform independently to the required safety, technical, quality and productivity standards expected in a commercial concrete production environment.
