What can I expect out of this qualification?
This qualification is suitable for people who are currently employed in the electricity supply industry as an electrician or training towards becoming an electrician.
This qualification is designed to provide the electricity supply industry with people who have sufficient knowledge, practical skills, experience and attributes to work as a substation maintainer, in accordance with the registration requirements of the Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB).
Graduates will have the knowledge and skills to work to legislated and industry standards and requirements, to take responsibility for their work and that of others, and to work independently whilst ensuring public safety.
