About the course
What can I expect out of this qualification?
The aim of this degree programme is to provide students with hands-on applied knowledge, skills, competencies and attributes that will enable graduates to meet the requirements for a career in laboratory science.
The programme will build capability for strategic thinking and analysis in order to provide well-rounded, work-ready graduates who have experienced the realities of a workplace during their programme, where they can apply advanced knowledge and theories to practice in real life situations.

Entry Requirements
Minimum requirements
Applicants under the age of l20 years must have University Entrance, including 30 credits in NCEA Level 2 from Science, Biology or Chemistry OR equivalent academic achievement OR one a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the Executive Dean. Over the age of 20 are not required to meet any of the academic qualifications above but will be required to attend a conversation.
