About the course
What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide the water treatment industry with individuals who can manage drinking-water treatment plants to ensure they are operating at an optimum level and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
The trainee will benefit from having a qualification within a training pathway that recognises progression through the water industry, as well as increased skill and knowledge acquisition to improve job performance.
Graduates will be capable of working autonomously and may be in a leadership role.

Minimum requirements
Must be employed at a water treatment plant which supplies drinking water and have enough exposure to gain the relevant skills covered within this programme. You must hold the New Zealand Certificate in Drinking Water treatment Level 4 or demonstrate equivalent knowledge and skills.
