About the course
What can I expect out of this qualification?
This programme is for storytellers; those driven to tell stories, to inspire or share truths. They traverse all media to connect and bridge the gap between you and me. They are open minded, passionate and determined.
This programme is for people who are 'launching a career' and wish to actively engage and learn in a flexible and authentic environment. People who are locally and globally aware, technologically literate, who have been introduced to communication through contributory pathways, and now want to both progress through a formal qualification to achieve career aspirations, and be inspired to engage in a creative life that contributes to culture and sustainability for the region, nationally and globally.
Graduates of this programme will achieve their career and creative aspirations and be capable, confident and competent practitioners of communication within their specific discipline and across alternative disciplines that emerge as part of the dynamic and shifting media environment. Graduates of this programme will be future thinkers and makers who respond with solutions that are user centred. Graduates of this programme can apply critical and reflective methodologies, and the collaborative and independent approaches they have acquired to engage in either employment opportunities or postgraduate level study.
