What can I expect out of this qualification?

The purpose of this qualification is to provide New Zealand with people who have attained scaffolding skills in suspended scaffolding.

Graduates of this qualification will be able to work independently and lead a team.

Entry Requirements

Minimum requirements

Applicants must: - Be aged 16 years or over, - Hold a current first aid certificate (unit standards 6400, 6401, 6402), - Have a reasonable standard of fitness required to work at heights, - Be employed in the scaffolding industry and have the support of their employer. The employer and Learner, in conjunction with VHNZ, must agree a learning plan and training agreement. Hold a Restricted Certificate of Compliance (CoC) Suspended issued by the Scaffolding and Rigging Association of New Zealand (SARNZ).
