Entry requirements
Candidates are expected to be employed in the scaffolding industry.
Graduates are eligible to apply for the Scaffolding Certificate of Competence for:
- Suspended Scaffolding strand - Certificate of Competence (Suspended)
- Suspended Certificate
A. Bosun's chair - handheld or mechanical;
B. Swinging stage - handheld or mechanical.
Prerequisite to meet regulatory body or legislative requirements: A current workplace first aid certificate.

What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide New Zealand with people who have attained scaffolding skills in suspended scaffolding.
Graduates of this qualification will be able to work independently and lead a team.
