About the course

What can I expect out of this qualification?

The purpose of this qualification is to provide New Zealand with individuals who have obtained an intermediate level of operational and technical skills, experience, knowledge and performance for the security sector.
The qualification is suitable for people who intend to operate in higher level roles within the security sector.
Graduates will be capable of carrying out security work under minimal supervision in the security environment.

This programme is only available to domestic students within New Zealand. * Students must be aged at least 18yrs at the time of their enrolment * Students cannot be enrolled in a secondary school * It is highly recommended that candidates to programmes have a minimum entry requirement of the literacy and numeracy requirements for NCEA Level 1, or equivalent.
