About the course
What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide the security sector with individuals who have obtained the fundamental knowledge and skills required to work as a security officer.
This qualification is suitable for individuals who want to operate as a security officer in the security industry or for individuals already operating in the security industry who would like to gain recognition for current experience.
Graduates will be capable of carrying out a broad range of tasks under limited supervision and will demonstrate transferable skills in a security work environment.

Minimum requirements
NCEA Level 1 or Equivalent academic achievement. International students require IELTS General or Academic score of 5 with no band score lower than 5 (or equivalent including TOEFL).
