What can I expect out of this qualification?

This qualification is intended for people who teach, care for, or otherwise work with children, adolescents, and their whānau.

This qualification will benefit industry through providing people who can identify when specialist help is needed and what type of help is appropriate.

This qualification uses psychological theories and principles, including those within the fields of clinical child psychology, developmental, behavioural and indigenous psychologies, to achieve advanced understanding of child and adolescent behaviour.
