What can I expect out of this qualification?
The qualification is designed to provide the makeup and related industries with makeup and hair artists who have the skills and knowledge to design and apply makeup, and style hair to create a complete look.
These industries will benefit by having people with the skills and knowledge to competently provide makeup and hair services for stage and screen, and other creative contexts.
Graduates will be capable of working independently under broad guidance.

Entry Requirements
Minimum requirements
New Zealand Certificate in Makeup and Skincare (Introduction) Level 3; or Equivalent knowledge, skills, work experience or study. Literacy and Numeracy requirement. For applicants to successfully complete this qualifiation, it is recommended they are at Step 5 or above of the Reading and Numeracy assessment tool result which is the level the programme is maped at under the Literacey and Numeracy progressions
