What can I expect out of this qualification?

The purpose of this qualification is to provide whanau, hapū and iwi with intermediate te reo speakers who will be able to converse in te reo in everyday whānau situations in the home and community and contribute to the revitalization of te reo Māori associated kaupapa and tikanga.

At least 17 years of age with an interest in learning te reo Maori, speaking te reo with whanau and friends, and promoting its usage in the home and in related whanau settings.
