What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of the qualification is to provide the surveying profession with assistant surveyors, who have the skills and knowledge to work safely in the surveying profession, collect basic survey information and present it in a range of useable forms, and apply practical surveying skills to assist with land surveys.
This is an entry level qualification designed for people commencing their career in the surveying profession. People already employed as assistant surveyors may undertake this qualification to gain a credential.
Graduates will be able to work under supervision.
