This qualification is intended for people in the primary food processing industry who carry out laboratory, environmental, or quality assurance technical tasks.
The qualification includes strands that recognise the distinct skills and knowledge required for specific job roles in the primary products food processing industries.
Graduates will benefit by having a qualification within a training pathway that recognises progression through the primary products food processing industry as well as increased skills and knowledge acquisition to enable improved job performance and support career opportunities.
Graduates will be able to work in a self-managed capacity and may have some responsibility for the performance of others.
