What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide the New Zealand aircraft manufacturing industry with graduates who have gained the skills and knowledge required of people working in all areas of aircraft manufacturing, as well as including a concentration of specialist skills required for an operator working under either, the New Zealand Defence Force Airworthiness Policy, or Part 145, Part 146, and/or Part 148 Rules and the Civil Aviation Act 1990.
This qualification is intended for learners who are planning to pursue a career in the aviation industry as an aeronautical engineer with specialist aircraft manufacturing competency.
Graduates will be competent in a range of skills to complete aircraft manufacturing tasks.
