What can I expect out of this qualification?
The programme has been designed for experienced health professionals to support development of enhanced leadership abilities to better meet the health needs of populations within the New Zealand context. The successful graduate of this programme will have advanced practice and leadership capability within their scope of practice.
Each endorsement contributes to the Government's objectives for the tertiary education and health sectors in relationship to their specific/specialty population. The endorsed programme also contributes to the New Zealand Health Strategy aims to ensure that halth workers meet the demand for services that integrate cultural practices, concepts and diverse world views into high-quality, evidence informed health services.
