What can I expect out of this qualification?
This qualification is for people working or anticipating working as a leader, foreman, supervisor, vessel planner or yard planner in the port operations industry. It provides a credential for those already working in these roles in the industry.
The qualification will provide the port operations industry with people who are able to plan vessel loading or supervise port operations. The graduates will have advanced knowledge and be able to operate without supervision.
Learners will benefit by having a qualification which recognises skills and knowledge in port operations or vessel loading. This will support improved job performance and will provide a credential to enhance employment opportunities.
