What can I expect out of this qualification?
This qualification is intended for those who are or want to be a language educator.
It is intended as a base-level qualification for a language educator who is an operationally proficient user of the language taught.
Graduates of this qualification will have the skills and knowledge to design, facilitate and assess language teaching, as well as reflect on own practice.

Entry Requirements
Minimum requirements
Candidates must : - be a minimum of 18 years of age prior to the commencement of the programme - have a standard of education equivalent to that required for entry into higher education such as NCEA Level 3 or equivalent, or above - have achieved UE literacy - 10 credits at level 2 or above (five in reading and five in writing) from specific standards (NZQA UE Literacy Requirements) or equivalent.
