What can I expect out of this qualification?

This qualification is designed for ākonga/learners who are seeking to develop a range of foundational technical skills and conceptual knowledge to produce creative work in arts, crafts or design contexts.

Graduates of this qualifications will have developed a limited range of creative capabilities to allow them to contribute to community or commercial projects in preparation for further study.

Graduates will be able to operate independently under broad guidance.

Entry Requirements

Minimum requirements

NCEA level 3 credits in English and mathematics; or completion of Level 3 Arts and Design or equivalent study in the arts field. Applicants for whom English is a second language must meet IELTS (or equivalent) level 5.5 or above.
