What can I expect out of this qualification?
This qualification is designed for ākonga/learners who are seeking to develop a range of foundational technical skills and conceptual knowledge to produce creative work in arts, crafts or design contexts.
Graduates of this qualifications will have developed a limited range of creative capabilities to allow them to contribute to community or commercial projects in preparation for further study.
Graduates will be able to operate independently under broad guidance.

Minimum requirements
THESE are UCOL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS Academic and English Requirements To be eligible for entry to the programme, applicants must hold at least one of the following: NCEA Level 2 (including Literacy 10 credits at Level 2 and Numeracy 10 Credits at Level 1) OR Equivalent academic achievement OR On a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the Dean. The minimum entry requirement for international students is IELTS Academic score of 5.5 with no band score lower than 5 (or equivalent).
