Key Information for Students

Entry Requirements

Minimum requirements

This programme will be open to learners aged 18 years and above. All learners will go through the selection interview process to ensure they are able to meet the requirements of the programme. All learners enrolling on a Level 4 programme at People Potential must be able to demonstrate an ability to study at Level 4 by Completing the Literacy and Numeracy Adult Assessment Tool, which is completed during the selection interview process. The minimum standard expected from the learners to enrol in the programme is a Step 3 or above in Numeracy and Reading on the Literacy and Numeracy Adult Assessment Tool. Ideally, learners will have completed a qualification at Level 2 or 3 specifically NCEA L2, NC in Computing Level 2, NC in Business Administration Level 2, or NC in Computing Level 3 all of which are available on site, or the more recent NZC in Computing (User Fundamentals) Level 2, NZC in Computing (Intermediate User) Level 3, or NZC in Business (Administration and Technology) Level 3, prior to enrolling in these programmes. However there is a pre-assessment designed specifically around the IT content of these programmes that learners are required to complete during the pre-selection process in order to gauge whether they will require a lot of support to meet the expectations of the qualification
