What can I expect out of this qualification?

The purpose of this qualification is to provide the maritime industry with personnel who are able to perform deck crew duties on a vessel under direct supervision.
This is an entry-level qualification for people intending to enter the maritime sector.
Graduates will have the introductory maritime skills, knowledge and attitudes necessary to work safely in a range of entry-level positions within the maritime industry.
