What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide competent employees for the fellmongery and leather processing sectors who are able to work as processors, in basic positions in a leather manufacturing operation and a fellmongery.
The aim of this qualification is to provide a training pathway that allows progression through the industry. This qualification will ensure the establishment of standards of competent performance in basic leather manufacturing and fellmongery operations that can provide domestic and international markets with confidence in a quality range of leather products.
Graduates will be capable of working under supervision.
