What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide the rigging sector with people who are able to prepare and complete rigging work under limited supervision.
Graduates of this qualifications will work as riggers who can work safely to set up and control the movement of loads over distance, which are usually suspended; can operate a variety of hoisting devices and rigging equipment; and are often required to operate at heights.
The qualification is an entry point for those wanting to work as a specialist rigger in various industries.
