What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide process industries with individuals who have a broad knowledge of the underpinning Industrial Measurement and Control (IMC) theory that supports the practical skills of instrument installation, servicing, calibration and commissioning required to operate safely and competently within industrial environments.
This qualification is also suitable for individuals who intend to advance their electrical or mechanical engineering knowledge at an industrial level.
This qualification is suitable for those seeking a career as an instrumentation technician, able to work under limited supervision and with self-management of their own learning and performance.
