About the course
What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide the community pharmacy sector with people who facilitate the provision and sale of over the counter (OTC) medicines and related pharmacy products and services.
Graduates will work in non-dispensing support roles within a community pharmacy to support the provision of safe, patient-centered healthcare under the supervision of a pharmacist.

Entry Requirements
Minimum requirements
New Zealand Certificate in Pharmacy (Introduction to Pharmacy Practice) [NZQF Ref: 1886], or demonstration of comparable skills and knowledge. Students for whom English is not a first language will need to demonstrate a level of proficiency to an IELTS score of 5.5 with no band score lower than 5. Students must be employed in a New Zealand Pharmacy. Students must have a current first air certificate or complete one within 6 months of commencing the programme.
