What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide the residential property management and community housing sectors with individuals who will be able to operate, under broad guidance, within the private, public, or community housing management environment.
The qualification aims to benefit the community by promoting consumer/tenant confidence of the sectors and processes.
The qualification provides a pathway for people intending to develop a higher level of expertise in the sector. It also recognises the achievement of relevant knowledge and skills of those who are already employed in the sector.

Minimum requirements
To enter this programme an individual must be involved in the real estate industry, in a role that allows them to achieve the GPOs of the qualification. There are no mandatory prerequisites to meet regulatory body or legislative requirements for this qualification. However, candidates should be aware of the licensing framework for the real estate sector to ensure they are operating within that framework. Ignite may enrol trainees working in New Zealand under work visas into this programme without being a signatory to The Education (Pastoral Care of Tertiary and International Learners) Code of Practice 2021, until 31 December 2023.
