General Admission: Applicants must have: 1. a recognised degree, 2. a professional qualification in a relevant discipline, OR 3. the ability to demonstrate competencies equivalent to a graduate from qualifications 1 or 2.

What can I expect out of this qualification?

The GDipProfAcc allows degree graduates to pursue a significant body of study at an advanced undergraduate level. It aims to prepare graduates who can:
use significant accounting knowledge at an advanced level with an appreciation of current issues and debates in the field of accounting
meet the academic requirements for admission to a professional accounting body
carry out accounting work in accordance with relevant technical and professional standards
critically analyse and solve financial problems with view to the wider implications for business
enhance their professional development through self directed learning and study, gaining additional skills and practical experience to enhance their accounting qualifications be able to utilise technology effectively to manage business information.
be confident learners able to engage in self directed learning and advanced study and demonstrate the capacity for life-long learning.
be able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively.
